Creamy Artichoke Dip

Prep: 8 -10 minutes | Cook: 25 minutes | Servings: 4 - 6 persons as an appetiser

1 can (400g) artichoke hearts. (drained and chopped up small)

1 cup Hellmans Mayonnaise (or any other good quality mayonnaise)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (the best you can afford)

1 clove of garlic

(Use the American measuring cups to get the amounts correct)

  1. Pre heat the oven to 350ºF or 175ºC
  2. Combine all the ingredients in an ovenproof baking dish
  3. Bake, uncovered in the oven for around 25 minutes until heated through and golden on top.
  4. Serve warm with Tortillas chips, toast or just a spoon

Truly delicious and so simple! Had this first at an American ladies house in Alexandria in about 1991 and then spent years looking for the right recipe. Finally found it in the American magazine “Womans Day” in October 2004.
