• 8 oz (200 g) rolled oats;
• 1 onion, finely chopped;
• 4 oz (100 g) shredded suet;
• seasoning

Mix all ingredients in a bowl, and stuff poultry or game in the usual way. Simple as that.

When I was little in the 1960´s my mum used this stuffing for the Christmas turkey a few times. It is really delicious, cheap and very filling, keeps the bird very moist. However she lost the recipe and it took until 2007 when I found the recipe on the internet until I could use it again
